Creating a route just got a whole lot easier, we’ve heard your feedback of the frustrations of only being able to snap to path when plotting a route in National Parks in GB when using the OS Leisure topographic mapping, and in this release we’ve now made it possible to snap to path any where in GB when plotting a route!
Additionally we’ve made improvements to custom offline maps, so you should see an improvement in the speed of downloads.

. Activity Recording replaces the old ‘Route Recording’ function. Unlike recorded Routes, Activities save duration and average speed.
. An 'Activity' is a mapped record of where you've walked, run or ridden.

This update gives you more control over the OS Leisure Mapping you see - premium users can now choose to lock to 1:25k or 1:50k mapping, or keep the existing 'auto-zoom' option (just go to the map layer selector to view these options). We've introduced these options in response to feedback from users who asked to have more control of the type of mapping they see. (Zoom improvements for paper map users are coming next in version 2.2.0)
